Are Christians Anti-Science?

I was thinking of two people sitting at a table; a Catholic Christian and an anti-theist. The anti-theist believing that Christians are anti-science. If a pizza suddenly appeared on the table, who would believe the appearance had a cause.

The Christian has an understanding of the universe based on the Aristotelian-Thomistic philosophy of the four causes; everything has a cause. The atheist believes the universe was created by chance.

It seems the Christian would be more curious about discovering the cause of the pizza appearance because he believes there must be a cause. The atheist more likely to accept the appearance as another random event.

It is the Christian who would be more likely to be the discoverer of causes; the scientist. Christianity is not inherently anti-science, but just the opposite.
